How does using my HSA/FSA save me money?
HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pre-tax money to pay for
expenses used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition.
Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you're getting more purchasing power for your
dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified
customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in root cause interventions.

Thodian
Your advanced real-time stress solution.
An intelligent product designed to help solve stress with guided support, biometric awareness, and bi-lateral alternating stimulating touch.
Your HSA/FSA is funded with pre-tax dollars, so every purchase made through Truemed comes
from money you never paid income tax on. That means more of your paycheck goes toward
your TouchPoints instead of taxes.
An HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are tax-advantaged
accounts that let you set aside pre-tax money for qualified health and wellness
expenses. Truemed helps confirm that your TouchPoints purchase qualifies.
Yes. Simply select the "Truemed – Pay with HSA/FSA" option at checkout on
thetouchpointsolution.com to use your HSA or FSA card.
Yes. If you'd rather not use your HSA/FSA card at checkout, you can pay with any major
credit or debit card and still complete the Truemed health assessment to receive a
Letter of Medical Necessity for reimbursement.
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document from a licensed healthcare provider
confirming that your purchase supports a diagnosed condition. Truemed's network of
licensed providers reviews your health assessment and issues your LMN, satisfying IRS
requirements for HSA/FSA eligible spending.
Many FSA balances expire at the end of your plan year (or a short grace period after),
so it's worth using those funds before they're forfeited. HSA balances roll over year
to year, so there's no urgency there — but using pre-tax dollars whenever you're ready
to buy still saves you money either way.
Most LMNs are reviewed and issued within a few hours of survey completion. In some
cases, review can take up to 1-2 business days. If your status has been pending for
longer than two business days, contact support at
support@truemed.com.
Truemed's health assessment and Letter of Medical Necessity are designed specifically
for HSA/FSA reimbursement, so without one of these accounts there's no pre-tax benefit
to unlock. You're still welcome to purchase your TouchPoints with any standard payment
method.
HSA and FSA accounts are a U.S. tax benefit, so Truemed's reimbursement process is built
for U.S.-based account holders.
