PARKINSON'S
If you or a loved one suffers from Parkinson's disease, you can understand the pain of the agitation and anxiety that accompanies it. Many PD sufferers have to take medication several times a day, and when it wears off, they can become irritated, agitated, and anxious.
Our customers have been increasingly reporting that using BLAST® as the medication wears off can help with that anxiety and agitation, as well as lessen the severity of tremors.
How blast® works
BLAST® INTERVENES
TouchPoint Solution’s wearable devices are embedded with patented BLAST® (bi-lateral alternating stimulation tactile) technology. BLAST® is scientifically proven to alter the body’s “fight or flight” response caused by stress. The wearables emit alternating vibrations that disengage your standard stress response (sympathetic nervous system), and shift you into the calm, logical side of your brain (parasympathetic nervous system).

CHANGE OCCURS
When using BLAST® consistently when stressed, overtime you may not need them in certain situations as they become less stressful because of BLAST®. One of the ways BLAST® works is by creating new neural pathways that help modify the memories that trigger our stress response. With continued use of BLAST®, these new neural pathways can build overtime, progressively reducing the release of stress related hormones that can stress.

MEASURABLE IMPACT
A 65 year-old man diagnosed with Parkinson's and REM sleep disorder. He was finding his Parkinson's tremors worsen under stress. Also, his REM sleep disorder made falling asleep and obtaining enough sleep difficult.
A use case study found PD symptoms more manageable, +1 hour of sleep nightly, tremors subsided, and overall more relaxation. View study
